Bible Studies and Events
Our Weekly Events
At Cornerstone, we gather for more opportunities beyond our Sunday Services. Find out more about our weekly events here:
This group meets over Zoom each Wednesday morning at 8:30 am. Prayer requests are shared and there is a time of prayer. Men of all ages participate.
❋ Men's Prayer Group
This group meets once a month at a Heritage Christian home where some of our regular attendees live. It is a Bible study appropriate for adults with intellectual disabilities.
❋ Heritage Bible Study
This group meets weekly in our library, with some members joining virtually. Women of all ages are welcome. Some women come every week, others join as able.
❋ Ladies' Bible Study
Led by our pastor and meeting in our church library, this Small Group meets every other Wednesday (on the opposite weeks of our Kids Club). This group studies a book of the Bible together throughout the school year.
❋ Adult Small Group
Kids Club is our Wednesday night kids program for kids in K-8th grade. This program meets every other week (opposite of our small group) during the school year and offers Bible lessons as well as games, crafts, and snacks.
❋ Kids Club
On any given week, you may find one of our teams meeting to discuss the needs and activities of our church. Find out more about our teams on our Leadership page.

Our Fellowship Events
At Cornerstone, we also gather for special opportunities several times a year. Find out more about our special events here:
❋ Fellowship Meals
We have several fellowship meals throughout the year following the Sunday morning worship service. These are a delicious way to connect with one another. When we have a fellowship meal, our Sunday schedule is usually altered.
Every summer, we gather at a local park for picnic food and outdoor fun. For the last few years, we have held the picnic at Durand-Eastman Park.
❋ Church Picnic
Trivia Night is a fun evening where we divide into teams to tackle a wide range of categories—from history to pop culture. All ages have participated in this event. It’s a low-pressure, high-fun evening that’s become a favorite.
❋ Trivia Night
Take us out to the ballgame! Our Fellowship Team organizes an outing to see our Minor League baseball team each summer.
❋ Red Wings Game
We also have a variety of seasonal events to keep our community connected all year long. Whether we’re roasting marshmallows at a fall bonfire, celebrating the holidays at a Christmas gathering, or celebrating spring, we enjoy these informal gatherings.
❋ Seasonal Gatherings
Summer Olympics is our version of VBS for kids in K-8th grade. This program offers Bible lessons as well as team games and relays, crafts, songs, and snacks. It’s always beautiful the way our church comes together to offer this program!
