Devotional Corner
Does your life often feel like a roller coaster ride, up one minute and down the next? We work hard to provide for ourselves or our family and never can seem to get ahead. Life is hard! There are financial stresses, serious health concerns, family relational conflicts, mental health issues and so much more.
Despite our roller coaster rides we can have stability and security in One who will not fail us. His name is Jesus! He is God, the One who became like us in our human flesh but without our human frailties or sins. He came over 2000 years ago to offer His life for ours (in our rebellion against God we deserve separation from Him for all eternity). By trusting in Him and His perfect rescue of us from what we rightly deserve (eternal death) we can receive peace and rest.
Will life still often seem like a roller coaster ride? Yes, temporarily, but with the full assurance that He will provide all that we need, particularly our deepest need, forgiveness of our sins and need of Him, Jesus!
To help us in our need, He also gives us a new family, fellow Christians who will share our load, support us materially, emotionally and spiritually, and pray for us.
We would love to welcome you at Cornerstone!
